Paul Smith

Lead Consultant

Paul is an experienced software developer and holds a degree in Computer Science, specialising in Games Development. He has knowledge and skills in several programming languages with a rounded view of product development.

Paul has experience of delivering solutions across a range of technology platforms. He is a Mendix Certified Intermediate Developer and has worked across the legal, finance and insurance and utilities industries delivering process automation solutions to solve a range of complex business problems.

Adeeb Khan

Developer

Adeeb has a First-Class Honours Degree in Computer Science from the University of Bradford.  An excellent example of how our graduate scheme works, Adeeb has used his skills developed while studying to foster new expertise in low-code development.

His ability to learn new technologies enabled him to swiftly pass his Mendix Rapid certification and later his Intermediate. Adeeb has been actively involved in a number of client engagements, demonstrating and refining his project delivery skills to become a valued member of the AuarQ development team.

Douglas Williams

Senior Consultant

A Computer Science Masters graduate, Douglas has proven skills in object-oriented programming developed through Java, Swift and C++ projects.

Since joining AuraQ, Douglas has passed his Mendix Rapid, Intermediate and Advanced Developer certifications. He has been engaged on several low-code delivery projects in both the private and public sector, including projects for large government bodies and the manufacturing industry. Across these engagements, Douglas has proven both his technical and client-facing skills and is a key member of the AuraQ development team.

Rina Forster

Principal Consultant

Rina is a practiced consultant with widespread experience in analysing, developing and supporting process automation solutions. She has worked with many high-profile clients in both previous roles and since joining the AuraQ team in 2013.

Rina holds a degree in Information Technology for Business. Immersing herself in all aspects of development from business and requirements analysis to development and testing, Rina is experienced in the full development lifecycle.

Gareth Jackson

Principal Consultant

Gareth has more than 20 years software development and architecture experience and is highly skilled in systems analysis and design.  He has extensive experience in systems integration and has successfully implemented numerous BPM and software integration projects.

Gareth has worked with a number of high-profile clients, extensively with the financial services sector, and has vast knowledge across a breadth of business processes and systems architecture and proven leadership and management skills.

Jason Broomfield

Principal Consultant

Jason is an experienced developer with over 25 years’ experience in the industry. He holds a degree in Computing and has extensive experience working as a technical lead. Jason’s expertise include pre-sales, running requirements workshops, solution architecture, upfront design, development, testing and deployment of solutions.

Having delivered numerous business process management, case management and content enabled applications across a wide range of sectors, Jason is highly skilled in analysis and technical development, with extensive experience of systems and workflow integration.

Josh Simmons

Lead Consultant

Josh graduated from the University of Worcester with a degree in Computer Games Design and Development. Joining the AuraQ team as a Graduate Software Developer in 2015, he has progressed to become a lead developer, delivering low-code projects for global clients.

Confident in software development, Josh is a key member of the delivery team and has worked across multiple legal, finance and insurance projects.

Kevin Spreadbury

Principal Consultant

Kevin is an experienced senior member of the AuraQ technical team with almost 30 years’ experience, having delivered process consultancy for both public and private sector organisations.

He is a confident analyst and designer with knowledge of the full commercial and development life cycle; from pre-sales through to post-implementation and training delivery. He has an extensive understanding of BPM and has achieved an excellent reputation with the clients he has worked for.

Luca Santese

Consultant

Graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in Computer Science, Luca has extensive programming skills in C#, C++ and Java. Since joining AuraQ Luca has developed new skills in low-code development and holds a Mendix Intermediate Certification.

Delivering low-code projects for global insurance clients, Luca is project experience delivering multiple applications and has as proven technical and client-facing skills.

Neil Duffy

Lead Consultant

Neil is a process improvement and data professional who enjoys helping organisations make better decisions, faster. Coming from a business rather than a computer science background, Neil has a lot of experience working with business users to understand their fundamental objectives and then using technology to create tools and processes that allow them to make better decisions and automate manual tasks.

Developing software solutions to improve workflows and decision making, Neil has worked in both project focused roles as well as leading operational teams and has an in-depth understanding of how to deliver systems and process improvement alongside supporting business as usual.

Jamie Magee

Consultant

A Software Engineering graduate, Jamie gained his bachelor’s degree while working as an Apprentice Mendix developer at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

The role helped Jamie develop a strong technical background with hands-on development experience delivering low-code solutions. Since joining AuraQ, Jamie has passed his Mendix Intermediate and Advanced Developer certifications and has been engaged on a client projects for customers in both the insurance and retail sectors.

Gavin Murray

Rob Dixon

Principal Consultant

Rob has over 30 years’ experience in the I.T. industry and joined AuraQ in 2007. He is skilled in developing and re-engineering BPM processes and has vast experience in system and application implementation and integration.

Rob has extensive experience working within the financial services sector and expertise in product development at all levels with knowledge in business analysis, functional specification creation, product development and QA testing.

Mike Clarke

Managing Director

As founder and Managing Director, Mike is responsible for the overall running of the business, managing costs and establishing mutually beneficial partnerships and relationships with clients, partners, and service providers to create strategic alliances that effectively align and support AuraQ’s key business initiatives.

Establishing the company in 1997, Mike’s excellent business acumen, together with his technology background in networking and workflow, has provided a solid foundation for the growth of the company which now supports enterprises of all sizes in achieving their digital goals and ambitions.

Guiding the business into the future, Mike provides inspiration, motivation, and direction to the wider company.

Iain Lindsay

Technical Director

Iain is AuraQ’s technical Director and has over 25 years’ experience in software development and architecture. With a demonstrated history of delivering technical innovation, Iain’s focus is working with clients to deliver digital transformation across the business.

Using industry leading platforms, Iain engages with organisations to implement solutions and applications that deliver automation and process efficiency. This includes introducing or expanding the use of digital technologies to modernise existing systems and processes, driving operational change and improving integration between existing or disparate systems.

Matthew Lancaster

Head of Opportunities

Matt has over 20 years’ experience within software supply, business improvement and strategy. Having sat as a Director of a Legal Software supplier, Matt then spent three years assisting firms with adopting ERP software before taking up the role of Head of Opportunities at AuraQ where he helps organisations to achieve and deliver their strategic goals and objectives.

Matt has a wealth of experience working with organisations to enable the best use of the latest technologies to drive efficiency, commercial advantage and ultimately increased profit. As Head of Opportunities, Matt works closely with our valued partners, prospects and clients to highlight synergies and identify areas for improvement using cutting-edge technologies such as low-code, intelligent automation (IA) and robotic process automation (RPA).

Holly Miller

Digital Content Manager

Holly has worked within the process automation and software development space for more than 15 years’. Joining AuraQ in 2014, Holly actively engages with a range of partners, clients and industry experts to create and deliver shareable content, host and sponsor vertical specific events and deliver increased brand awareness.

As Digital Content Manager, Holly is tasked with developing the AuraQ brand and increasing our online presence. She works closely with our partners to identify areas for opportunity, helping educate our audiences on the latest technologies such as low-code, intelligent automation (IA) and robotic process automation (RPA). This includes sharing successes and bringing together industry professionals to share knowledge and best practice.

Sherilley Leach

Service Delivery Manager

As Service Delivery Manager, Sherilley is responsible for the successful delivery and management of services provided to our clients and for providing business support. Sherilley’s strong background in project management, and PRINCE2 certifications, ensure that our service support processes are on track for the consistent delivery of a high-level of client service.

To manage our increasingly high-profile portfolio of projects, Sherilley also ensures the we meet and exceed the expectations of our clients through the implementation and maintenance of our ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard and our ISO 27001 Information Security accreditation, both of which help us deliver projects within a framework of market-leading systems and management processes. 

Liz Emmens

Managing Consultant

With over 25 years’ experience in business process optimisation, Liz’s background is in client-facing consultancy with leading software vendors, specialising in business solutions including: business and enterprise architecture, process analysis, modelling and design, optimisation and automation.

Liz joined AuraQ in 2022 as Managing Consultant to help our clients solve issues, create value, maximise growth and improve business performance. Bringing a wealth of experience across diverse industries such as financial services, telecommunications, retail services and more, Liz’s focus is on customer success, ensuring our solutions are aligned to solving real business issues and driving tangible returns for stakeholders.
